Danae Bradley

SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST | DIRECTOR

Having worked in the sport and exercise industry for over 20 years, and as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2006, Danae has gained a wealth of experience in the industry she loves. Combining her educational and professional experiences, Danae established DNA Health Group with a mission to help others achieve optimal health and quality of life, by providing a tailored exercise service within a welcoming and friendly environment.

Danae's areas of special interest include: postural and movement correction, balance training and sports / dance performance.

Qualifications: ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Graduate Diploma (Exercise for Rehabilitation), Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Level 1 Anthropometrist, Certificate IV in Personal Training, Pilates instructor.

Jessica Harrison

SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST | CLINICAL TEAM LEADER

Jess joined the team at DNA Health Group in 2010 and completed her Masters in Exercise for Rehabilitation in 2012. As an experienced AEP, Jess commenced a mentorship role at DNA as Clinical team leader in 2020.

She enjoys treating her clients holistically, tailoring corrective exercises and empowering them with knowledge for an active rehabilitation approach to regain optimal function. Jess has a friendly, caring and positive nature making the rehabilitation process more than just exercise.

Jess' areas of special interest include: complex musculoskeletal conditions, injury rehabilitation (including pre and post surgery), chronic pain and neurological conditions.

Kate Williams

SENIOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST | HEAD OF EXERCISE ONCOLOGY

Since gaining her accreditation as an AEP in 2009, Kate has established herself as a highly sought after practitioner in the industry. Her passion for helping others lead to the development of Movement Against Cancer (MAC), a program designed and developed at DNA Health Group with a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of people diagnosed with cancer. Kate is our head of exercise oncology, and has an active mentorship role on the team.

Kate also places a strong emphasis on maximising her own health and wellness, and is passionate about helping others to achieve the same.

Kate's areas of special interest include: cancer treatment and recovery and chronic fatigue pathologies

Brea Vieceli

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Whilst undertaking her Bachelor of Exercise Science at ACU, Brea developed a passion for exercise rehabilitation, and went on to further her studies by completing a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University in 2011.

As a Life! course facilitator and Diabetes Health program co-ordinator, Brea has a passion for Diabetes management and prevention, and finds the most rewarding part of her job is helping her clients achieve their goals, and improve their quality of life.

Brea's areas of special interest include: Metabolic conditions, weight management, pre and post natal exercise, musculosketal and cardiovascular conditions.

Qualifications: ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Bachelor Applied Science (Exercise & Sport Science), Certificate III & IV in Fitness/Personal Training, Life! Course Facilitator, Pilates instructor.

Jason Canterford

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST | NDIS PROGRAM CO-ORDINATOR

Whilst completing his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, and Masters in Exercise Physiology at La Trobe University, Jason developed a passion in empowering clients to take control of their health through exercise. He enjoys creating a positive environment, where an enthusiastic attitude and tailored exercise programming are the cornerstone elements to clients achieving their goals.

Jason also coordinates our DNA NDIS program, where he delivers high quality disability services to individuals of all backgrounds and needs.

Jason’s areas of interest include: Exercise for disability, cancer, cardiac rehabilitation, youth exercise, injury rehabilitation and prevention.

Nicole Hirshowitz

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Nicole completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science at the University of Western Australia. In 2018 Nicole relocated from Perth to Melbourne to complete her Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University.

Nicole is a firm believer that movement is medicine and is passionate about helping each individual achieve their goals and improve their quality of life!

Nicole’s areas of interest include: Women’s health (particuarly menopause), exercise for cancer, falls prevention, metabolic conditions and cardiac rehabilitation.

Qualifications: ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Bachelor of Sports Science, Pilates Instructor.
