Funding and Rebates


Our Exercise Physiologists are registered allied health professionals, and as such you may be eligible to receive a partial or full rebate of your sessions through Private Health Insurance (please refer to your fund), Medicare (Enhanced Primary Care Plan), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), WorkSafe Victoria and TAC. Please refer to funding requirements below, or call us on (03) 9017 5266 for more information.

If you have a chronic and complex care need, you may be eligible for funding through Medicare under the Enhanced Primary Care Plan upon suitable referral from your GP.
If you have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, you will be eligible for up to 8 group classes rebated through Medicare per calendar year upon suitable referral from your GP.
If you are an eligible Veteran with a DVA White or Gold card, you may be able to undertake exercise sessions upon suitable referral from your GP.
Once your claim has been accepted by WorkSafe, and upon suitable referral from your GP, you can access Exercise Physiology services for clinical rehabilitation and a return to work program.
If you are 45 years and over, and score 12 or higher on the AUSDRISK, or are over 18 years and have a history of gestational diabetes or heart disease, you are eligible to undertake this free government funded health lifestyle course.

Private Health Insurance


Exercise Physiology treatment is now claimable¬†under the majority of Australia’s Private Health Insurance companies. Please check with your relevant fund to determine your level of covereage.
